Lost Pleiad

waiting

Do you remember one summer

when a storm

had passed?

Our captain lost his chief mate,

We choked up with our hearts.

Do you remember one summer

when we lost

our captain?

I had to steer the listing boat

And jettison my dreams.

Last summer I gave you

the wheel

when a storm had hit again, but

you jumped out with the flotsam

and chose to swim away.

My tears chased

all my jetsam

buried in the sea,

our boat went at a standstill

rocked by the storm in me.

You returned one day

and told me

That I was never there,

That I was dead set on the boat,

That I was first to leave.

It is a curiosity how words show

the storms within,

so when your ocean is clearer and you

start to remember, please

come home again.
